We had a wonderful stay at Villa Socrates in Zakynthos. The villa is located high on the hillside, which means not only breathtaking sea views but also a refreshing breeze—so you never feel the summer heat. The stone villa is beautiful, with a private pool and all modern amenities. Every room is air-conditioned, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The owners, Eleni, Socrates, and their daughter Maria, were incredibly kind and welcoming. They guided us to the best beaches and tavernas in the area, which made our trip even more special. The location in Vasilikos is perfect—this part of the island has some of the most stunning seas and beaches we’ve ever seen. Truly an unforgettable stay, and we highly recommend Villa Socrates to anyone visiting Zakynthos!

This was the 5th time we have stayed at the villas. 3 times in Villa Sokrates and twice in Villa Elini. I first have to mention the owners. Sokrates, Elini their daughter Maria and of course Rudy the spaniel who are just the most wonderful warm hosts. Very welcoming and non-intrusive. Villa Sokrates is a lovely villa. A peaceful setting at the top of a quite short steep hill with wonderful sea views. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The pool area is great with plenty of sun beds and two shaded areas. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance (don't forget the hill!!) Agnadi being our favourite. The Azurro beach is approximately a 10 minute drive away. A perfect place to relax and good for children with shallow swing areas. Giovvanies taverna is approximately 15 minutes drive away, is situated right on the beach and serves fantastic food. Agassi is 20 minutes away by car and good for villa supplies as well as two great bakeries for a coffee and delicious sandwiches.

A stunning place to stay with incredible views over the sea. The hosts were amazing and looked after us very well, they gave us many great recommendations for restaurants!

Absolutely stunning villa! Even more beautiful than the pictures, with amazing views and a perfect location close to everything. The owners were incredibly kind and made our stay even more special. Highly recommend!

We have been in Villa Eleni for a week in August with our kids. The Villa is even more beautiful than the pictures. Position, Calm and quite atmosphere and seaview brings you in a paradise far from the busy of the island but still close to beautiful beaches and restaurant. The warm welcome of Eleni Socrates and Maria and his full family has been the perfect plus always at our disposal but respecting our privacy! We will be back for sure!
