Just returned from an amazing stay. A family run hotel that exceeds expectations. All the staff from owners to cleaners are so nice and polite . They all could not do enough to make our stay absolutely superb. I can see why people return here. It was a pleasant walk each evening into town or the beach. With shops and small super market close by along with hire vehicles. Thoroughly highly recommended .

Nice Family run hotel/apartments, friendly staff and nice pool. The room we had was a bit tired with a small meal prep area and shower room. Air con is a must and comes in at 10 Euros per night plus the safe box rental which is situated in the main reception area, this is 3 Euros a day and tourist tax of 2 Euros a day. The main bars and shops are about 1Km away. The rooms were cleaned every day and the hotel was kept clean. Food and drink is a bit on the expensive side but the prices in the area are quite high.

Solo traveller and 3rd visit to Maria's. I only come back for the atmosphere and people, they have lots of returning guests and remember every one. rooms are very clean but it is 2 star! Don't expect modern luxury. Pool bar and pool are perfect, a 25 minute walk to Asteria beach, the best one for me. Zante is very safe for solo females

Just got back after staying for 2 weeks. Had a great time. Staff are friendly, housekeepers worked all day to keep pool area and rooms clean. Entertainment most nights and the food was really good. Would highly recommend 👍

Small, friendly ,reasonably priced bar menu with good food, nice pool, clean pool are with sunbeds & parasols. Rooms very basic , some seemed to be better finished than others but it’s possibly a work in progress? 60 euros per week cash for air conditioning. It’s quite far out to walk to town/beach and no street lights , taxis proved very limited; (distances a lot further than Jet2 say on booking pages) I feel it’s not for anyone with walking difficulties as no lift/ramps, lots of stairs and far away from shops etc. it’s a good base if you don’t mind lots of walking or staying mostly in the accommodation eating in-house or basic cooking.
